The Bunkers of the: The Bunkers of the Atlantikwall in the Dutch beach town Noordwijk are considered a World Heritage Site, but in fact lie just a few hundred meters from the sea, parts of which have since been reclaimed by the sea. With water in the bunkers, a gradually deteriorating environment, and precarious access, maintaining the bunkers is difficult. In 2013, it was decided that the museum should have a clear future.
