Atlantika

Atlantika: Atlantika, a planned system of bunkers and pillboxes to protect the city of Dunkirk from the British, was originally intended to house up to 50,000 troops. It was ultimately abandoned by the German military in 1944 in the face of an increasingly likely invasion by the British this Atlantic Wall has become a symbol of Nazi power and of the failed effort to prevent the Allies successful attempt to cross the Channel.
